Start your journey with a drive from Pokhara to the trekking trailhead near Ulleri. Begin walking through traditional villages and beautiful forest trails, gradually climbing toward Ghorepani. The trail includes stone steps and scenic sections through rhododendron forests. After reaching Ghorepani, settle into your teahouse and rest for the evening, ready for an early start the next morning.
Wake up early and hike to Poon Hill to watch the sunrise over the Himalayan mountains. On a clear morning, you can see beautiful views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre and surrounding peaks. After enjoying the scenery, return to Ghorepani for breakfast and continue the trek toward Ghandruk. The trail passes through forests and peaceful villages before reaching the traditional Gurung settlement. Spend the evening exploring Ghandruk and enjoying its mountain views.
After breakfast, enjoy your final morning in Ghandruk before walking down toward the road. The trail offers beautiful views of the surrounding hills and mountains as you make your way toward the pickup point. From there, drive back to Pokhara, where your 3-day Poon Hill and Ghandruk adventure comes to an end.
