The Kori Trek is a peaceful alternative to some of the busier trekking routes in the Annapurna region. The journey takes you through traditional Gurung communities, dense forests and open mountain landscapes where you can enjoy a slower and more peaceful trekking experience. Starting from Sikles, the trail gradually climbs toward the scenic Kori area, offering beautiful views and plenty of quiet moments along the way. The route is ideal for travelers who want to experience rural Nepal, local culture and Himalayan scenery while staying away from crowded trails.
Drive from Pokhara to Sikles, one of the traditional Gurung settlements in the region. After arriving, explore the village and enjoy the surrounding mountain scenery. The peaceful atmosphere makes Sikles a perfect place to begin this off-the-beaten-path adventure.
Leave Sikles and follow forest trails toward Tasa. The trail gradually climbs through beautiful natural surroundings, with occasional views of the hills and mountains. Enjoy the quiet atmosphere as you move farther away from the village.
Continue climbing toward Kori through scenic mountain terrain. As you gain altitude, the forest begins to open into wider mountain landscapes. The arrival at Kori is a special moment, with beautiful views and a peaceful setting far from busy trekking routes.
After enjoying the mountain surroundings, begin the descent toward Sikles. Follow forest paths and familiar trails while enjoying the scenery from a different perspective. Reach Sikles and relax after the day's walk.
After breakfast, leave Sikles and drive back to Pokhara. Enjoy the final views of the hills and countryside before arriving in the city. Your Kori Trek ends with memories of peaceful trails and traditional mountain communities.
