Everest Three Pass Trek is an adventurous high-altitude journey through the remote valleys of the Everest region. The route crosses three famous passes—Renjo La, Cho La and Kongma La—while visiting Gokyo Lakes and Everest Base Camp. It offers dramatic views of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, Ama Dablam and surrounding Himalayan peaks.
Fly to Lukla and begin the trek through the Dudh Koshi valley to Phakding.
Follow the river through forests and cross suspension bridges before climbing to Namche Bazaar.
Namche Acclimatization
Leave the main trail and walk through the quieter Thame Valley, passing traditional Sherpa villages.
Continue through the remote valley toward Lungden while enjoying views of the surrounding mountains
Cross the challenging Renjo La Pass and descend toward the beautiful Gokyo Valley.
Explore the Gokyo Lakes and hike toward Gokyo Ri for spectacular views of Everest and surrounding peaks.
Walk beside the Ngozumpa Glacier through a dramatic high-altitude landscape toward Thagnak.
Cross the challenging Cho La Pass and descend through rocky mountain terrain toward Dzongla.
Walk through the high alpine valley with views of surrounding peaks before reaching Lobuche.
Trek through the Khumbu Glacier area to Everest Base Camp before returning to Gorak Shep.
Hike early to Kala Patthar for panoramic mountain views before descending toward Dingboche.
Walk through the Imja Valley toward Chhukung with impressive views of Island Peak and surrounding mountains.
Cross the third major pass, Kongma La, and descend toward Lobuche through rugged high-altitude terrain.
Descend through the valley and continue through beautiful forests toward Tengboche.
Continue downhill to Namche and then walk toward Lukla.
Fly from Lukla back to Kathmandu and complete the Three Pass adventure.
